Labyrinth
Please stop by and enjoy our outdoor labyrinth for prayer and reflection anytime!
Even when the church is closed, our front yard invites neighbors and passersby to take a short break from the busyness of life and reconnect with the Spirit.
Stop by. Pause. Rest. Reflect.

What is a Labyrinth?
The labyrinth is an archetype, a divine imprint, found in all religious traditions in various forms around the world. In recent years this ancient mystical tradition has been reclaimed by people of many faiths as a path to connect us to the still, small voice, the sacred within ourselves.
Three stages of the walk:
RELEASE—let go of the details of your life, shed thoughts and distractions. Open your heart, quiet your mind, and enter the path, leaving the world behind you.
ILLUMINATION—find the spirit somewhere along the path, and stay as long as you like in the center, a place of meditation and prayer.
UNION—as you leave, retracing the path by which you entered, you reach the third stage, becoming one with the healing forces at work in the world. You resume your daily life refreshed and renewed.
The power of the labyrinth, as with any spiritual practice, is in what you bring to it.
The labyrinth is a portal, a door to spiritual growth.
